- Common Names: Prince of Orange
Maximum Height: 0.7 m
Philodendron ‘Prince of Orange’ is a hybrid variety of the popular and easy to care Philodendron genus. This low growing, plant has light-green foliage with new leaves emerging in a striking, bright orange. Unlike other types of philodendrons, this doesn’t have a trailing or climbing habit as it grows into an upright form.
Light: Grows best in bright indirect sunlight. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent leaf scorching.
Water: Make sure to water once soil is dry to the touch. Water every once or twice weekly to keep the soil evenly moist, but not soggy. High humidity promotes healthy growth, so be sure to mist as needed.
Fertilizing: Fertilize weekly with dilute liquid fertilizer or a 5-5-5 equivalent. Be sure not to overfeed to prevent browning of leaf tips and margins.
