Maximum Height: 2 m to 5 m
A small compact tree, the Four Season Kumquat can grow up to 5m tall.
Four Season Kumquat fruits are orange thin-skinned, juicy, golf-ball sized (about 4 cm in diameter) and is usually eaten raw with the pulp and juice being very acidic and sour. The peel is sweet. Fruit remains on the plant for a long time, taking up to one year for fruit to ripen to orange. Each fruit contains 6-9 fleshy segments. Fragrant white 5-petaled flowers bloom primarily in spring, but may produce 4-5 smaller flushes throughout the year. Leaves are oval, slightly glossy and evergreen growing to 10cm long. Leaves are aromatic.
