Also known as the Prayer Plant, the Calathea opens its leaves during the day and closes up during the night.
PLANT CARE
Light: Place it where it can receive bright but indirect sunlight. Avoid direct sunlight as its leaves will lose their colour.
Water: Allow the surface of the soil to be dry to touch between waterings. It enjoys humidity so the occasional misting does help.
Fertilizing: Feed with diluted liquid fertilizer once a month.
