A small and herbaceous evergreen plant, the Anthurium has attractive waxy spathe and dark green foliage, growing upright to 40 cm tall. The genus Anthurium means flower-tail, which refers to the cream-yellow tail-like spadix.

PLANT CARE
Light: Anthurium plants can tolerate all levels of indirect light, but anthuriums growing in low light will have fewer flowers and will grow slower. These plants cannot tolerate direct light however, as this can burn the leaves. It grows best in bright, indirect light.
Water: Anthurium plants don’t like continually moist soil, thus ensure the soil is well draining. Make sure to regularly water your anthurium plant only when the soil is dry to the touch and do not over water.
Fertilizing: Fertilizing is typically unnecessary.
